From July 30th-August 1st, 2010, the StartUp Scramble™ NEPA Challenge--an intense weekend retreat connecting local Geeks, Artists, Entrepreneurs, Activists, Innovators, Techies, and Creatives--takes over Brennan Hall at the University of Scranton! We’re inviting young innovators across Northeast Pennsylvania to deep-dive into an accelerated process of venture development and build and launch new business, social, and artistic ventures in 54 hours.
Guest mentors, speakers, and panel members visit, providing attendees with the opportunity to network with potential investors, professionals, service providers, and employers.
The StartUp Scramble™ NEPA Challenge concludes Sunday evening with teams pitching their ventures to a panel of entrepreurs, investors, and artists (American Idol-style) for feedback and funding opportunities.
Young people (from college students to young professionals) ready to take ideas from concept to creation.
The SUS NEPA Challenge is a big social experiment bringing 60+ local innovators together for 54 hours to build and launch "things" that range from business ventures and social enterprises to artwork and performance pieces over one intense weekend!
Space is limited.
Tickets are $75.00 or $40.00 for full-time students. All ticket sales are final (non-refundable). Your ticket purchase helps to cover food and event costs. Space is limited to 60 attendees.
